An Abyss of Sorrow

An abyss of sorrow claims your name,
Provoking your feelings and your existance to proclaim,
The grief and frustration you cannot stand
As you slowly slip into and through the sand,
Of lost causes and failed plans,
Misguided paths and devilish lands.
You can't find a way out, oh where is the light?
Can you find it? Are you alright?
Just keep in mind, that you can hope.
To save yourself is not to mope.
Keep your spirits high, and don't let it fall.
Keep your chin up, and keep standing tall.
